Data handling for the API and MCP

What is read

Tools and endpoints read only the data of the workspace you are connected to, plus the arguments you or your assistant send.

Live-data lookups

The lookup tools (opportunities, grants, awards, forecasts) return public U.S. government contracting data. They receive only the search terms chosen, never the content of your workspace. Do not put sensitive text in a search.

Documents you upload (FedProc-2)

The file is used to produce the analysis and deleted when the analysis ends. The structured result is kept for 7 days and then deleted.

AI processing

AI processing happens inside VETR's secure environment. Your content is not sent to external AI providers.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. VETR never sees or stores your card number.

What not to submit

Do not submit classified information or controlled unclassified information (CUI).
