Founding Member Terms

Plain-language summary: If you sign up for the Startup or Professional plan within the first 100 paid customers OR the first 90 days post-launch (whichever ends first), we'll lock your monthly rate at the founding-member price for 24 months from your signup date. After 24 months, you keep your account on standard pricing unless you opt for the Loyal Founder rate (20% off, additional 12 months).

1. Eligibility

You qualify as a "Founding Member" if you sign up for any paid VETR plan (Startup, Professional, or Enterprise) before either:

• The first 100 paid customers have signed up; or
• 90 calendar days have passed since the public launch date (currently expected to be July 1, 2026).

Whichever of these two events occurs first will close the founding-member window for new signups.

2. Locked rate

For the first 24 months following your signup date, your monthly subscription rate is locked at:

• Startup tier: $149/month (vs. $199/month standard)
• Professional tier: $299/month (vs. $399/month standard)
• Enterprise tier: 25% off your first-year ACV

VETR may adjust standard prices during this 24-month window; your locked rate is unaffected.

3. Plan changes during the lock window

If you upgrade between Startup ↔ Professional during the founding-member window, your lock transfers to the new tier at the founding-member rate for the new tier (e.g., Startup founding → Professional founding moves you from $149/mo to $299/mo). The lock duration does not reset; it continues from your original signup date.

Downgrades inside the window are allowed and your founding rate continues at the lower tier.

Forfeiting the lock: Switching to standard (non-founding) pricing voluntarily, cancelling and re-subscribing, or changing your billing entity (e.g., transferring to a different organization) ends your founding-member status. Once forfeited it cannot be reinstated.

4. Non-monetary inclusions

All founding members receive:

• 30-minute onboarding call with the founder
• Listed as a launch partner in our July 1 press release (with your permission)
• Private founder Slack channel access
• First invitation to the VETR Certified Practitioner program (Q2 2027)
• Free seats in the inaugural Women Veteran in GovCon cohort (1–2 seats per founding member)
• Automatic access to all v1.5, v2.0, v2.5 feature releases at no extra charge during your lock period

5. Renewal at month 24

Sixty days before your founding-member lock expires, we'll email you with two options:

• Loyal Founder rate: 20% off standard pricing for 12 additional months ($159/mo Startup, $319/mo Professional)
• Standard pricing: $199 Startup or $399 Professional from month 25 onwards

If you do nothing, your subscription continues at standard pricing.

6. Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Refund requests within the first 30 days of your initial paid period are honored at our discretion under our standard money-back guarantee. Cancelling ends your founding-member status; if you re-subscribe later, standard pricing applies.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Material changes that affect your locked rate or its duration will not apply retroactively to existing founding members.
