Connect GovSlack for proposal notifications

What it does

Post proposal status updates to your organization's own GovSlack channel. VETR sends only the proposal title and status — never proposal content.

Before you start

• An Enterprise plan and an organization admin role.
• Your organization's GovSlack workspace.
• Your organization is not a government agency.

Steps

1. In GovSlack, create a Slack app for your workspace and add the chat:write bot scope.
2. Install the app to your workspace and copy the Bot User OAuth Token (it begins with xoxb-).
3. Invite the bot to the channel you want updates in (for example #proposals).
4. In VETR, go to Settings → Integrations → GovSlack, paste the bot token and channel, and connect. This records your consent.
5. From then on, proposal status changes post to your channel automatically.

What leaves VETR

Only the proposal title and its status. The proposal body, summary, and any CUI never leave the platform.
