Connect Google Workspace (Assured Controls) and export to Drive
What it does
Export a proposal to your organization's own Google Workspace Drive for collaboration. Because a document export inherently sends the document, this is a customer-directed export: you choose which proposal to export, and it goes only to your own Drive.
Before you start
- An Enterprise plan and an organization admin role.
- A Google Workspace tenant running under Assured Controls (FedRAMP High). Google's government offering uses the same endpoints as the commercial one, so VETR requires you to attest that your Workspace is under Assured Controls.
- Your organization is not a government agency.
Steps
- In the Google Cloud console, create OAuth 2.0 credentials (client ID + secret) with the Drive scope, and complete authorization to obtain a refresh token.
- Optionally create a Drive folder for VETR exports and copy its folder ID.
- In VETR, go to Settings → Integrations → Google Workspace, enter the client ID, secret, refresh token, and folder ID.
- Check the box to attest that your Workspace runs under Assured Controls, then connect.
- Open a proposal and choose Export to Google Drive.
What leaves VETR
Only the specific proposal you choose to export, to your own Assured Controls Drive. Your OAuth credentials are stored encrypted and are never shown again.
