Cancelling or pausing your account
You can cancel anytime. No phone calls, no retention scripts, no holds. Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription handles it directly.
What happens when you cancel
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle (no proration).
- Until that date, the account stays fully active.
- After that date, the account moves to read-only — you keep view access to all your data for 90 days.
- After 90 days, the account is soft-deleted. You can restore by contacting support within an additional 90 days.
- After 180 days total, data is permanently deleted (with the exception of audit logs we're required to retain for compliance).
What you can export before cancelling
- All proposals as PDF / DOCX (per-proposal Export button)
- All past performance as CSV (Past Performance → Export)
- All compliance matrices as Excel (RFP detail → Compliance → Export)
- All RFPs as their original uploaded files (RFPs list → Bulk Download)
Best practice: run all four exports before clicking Cancel. The data is yours; the platform is just a workspace.
Pausing instead
If you'd rather pause than cancel — for instance, if you're between bid cycles — Settings → Billing → Pause Subscription drops your monthly fee to $0 for up to three months. The account stays read-write for the first month, then read-only. Resume any time.
Refunds
If you cancel within 7 days of your first paid subscription month, we'll refund the full first month. After that, no refunds for the current billing cycle, but you keep access through the cycle's end.
Founding-member cancellations
Founding-member status is tied to active subscription. If you cancel, you forfeit founding-member pricing — re-signing later puts you on then-current standard rates. Pausing preserves founding-member status as long as you resume within the 3-month pause window.
