Setting up your organization profile

Your organization profile is the single source of truth VETR uses to score every RFP, build cover pages, and pre-populate proposal sections. Take twenty minutes to fill it in completely; you'll save hours per proposal afterward.

Required fields

  • Legal entity name — exactly as registered with SAM.gov
  • UEI — Unique Entity ID. Find it in your SAM.gov dashboard under "Entity Information."
  • Primary NAICS code — most-used 6-digit code on your bids
  • Address — street, city, state, ZIP
  • POC name + email + phone — primary contracting officer contact

Strongly recommended

  • Secondary NAICS codes — up to nine more. Used for opportunity matching.
  • CAGE code — required for most federal awards
  • DUNS number — legacy but still requested by some agencies
  • Set-aside certifications — SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), WOSB, EDWOSB, HUBZone — with effective + expiration dates
  • Capability statement — paste your one-pager into the rich-text field; VETR uses it for the V (Value) pillar matching
  • Brand colors + logo — uploaded under Settings → Branding; show on PDF exports

What VETR uses each field for

  • UEI — to pull active SAM.gov entity data so we always have the latest
  • Primary + secondary NAICS — to match RFPs to your wheelhouse (V pillar)
  • Set-aside certs — to surface set-aside-only opportunities and to flag certifications expiring within 90 days
  • Capability statement — V pillar text similarity scoring
  • Brand colors + logo — applied to PDF/DOCX exports automatically

Updating later

Settings → Organization is editable at any time by admin or owner roles. Changes take effect immediately on the next RFP score. Existing proposals keep their original organization snapshot until you click "Resync."
